Terms of use
What Veralease is today, what an account is, and what you agree to by using the site.
Veralease is run by Soft Computers Inc., a Canadian company. Using this site means agreeing to what is on this page.
What Veralease is today
Today Veralease is an account and a set of pages about lease takeovers in Canada. Listings, messaging and transfers are not open yet.
The cars and the dealers you see on the site are samples, put there to show what the pages will look like. They are not real listings and nothing on them can be bought, sold or taken over.
Your account
An account is free. It needs an email address you can receive mail at, and a phone number we can text once you go to list a car or message somebody.
The account is yours and you are responsible for what is done with it. Keep the password to yourself, and turn on two-step verification in Settings if you want a second lock on it.
You can delete your account whenever you like, from Settings, then Privacy. It goes for good, with everything on it.
What you put on the site
What you write and the photo you upload stay yours. Putting them on Veralease gives us permission to show them to the people your privacy settings allow, and nothing more.
Put up only what is yours to put up, and keep it accurate. A profile that pretends to be somebody else is the one thing that makes this site worth less to everybody on it.
What not to do
Do not break the law with it. Do not pretend to be another person or another business. Do not scrape the site, take it apart, or try to reach parts of it that are not yours.
We can suspend or remove an account that does any of that. If we suspend yours, write to us and we will tell you why.
What we do not promise
The site is offered as it is. We work to keep it up and correct, and we cannot promise it will never be down or never be wrong.
Nothing on Veralease is legal, tax or financial advice. A lease transfer is always the lender’s decision, and the numbers on any page are a guide, not a quote. Read your own lease and ask your lender.
The rest of the terms
The full terms, including the ones about listings, messaging, fees and transfers, are being written and will be published before listings open. This page says what is true today.
Questions about any of it go to info@softcomputers.ca.
These terms are dated 22 September 2026.
